My blog is getting too much spam as compare to other, why?

My DecentComedy site is getting 100+ spam comments daily and this is a new site, just 2 months old.

But my old blog SR is getting only 5-10 spam comments daily.

I want to know what attracts spammers? so that I should take proper steps to stop them?

I reckon your sites in a database for xrumer or some automatic link building software!

You get software like xrumer, which is a mass link builder which basically spams on a hugh scale!

You don't have a captcha so its easy for the software to post comments, your domain will be in a database that will be going around the blackhat forums, most likely for sale!

Use a captha and it will stop

I can find captcha plugins in wordpress but I want the captcha that should not fail anytime, otherwise users will get annoyed that the captcha is not working and they can't post comment.
