dansomers replied to my thread give me the best answer.
So, I tried giving him reputation, but i got a popup box saying "you can give reputation twice"
lol, i just clicked the button once,

and also this happened to me yesterday

Are you on a mobile at all? I use this site alot on my blackberry and if I post it sometimes posts twice

At that time i was on computer..
By the way i access this site on my nokia 5800 by opera browser.

You can give or cannot give reputation twice?

Maybe your mouse got double click but you felt it is only single click?

I've seen other forums have limits for +/- rep where it can't be given twice to the same person. I think it's a vBulletin default.
