Since we have changed the domain name of this forum to webmastersgossip.com so I was wondering what to do with the old domain? I was not happy by just redirecting it to this forum so I decided to make a general discussions forum on that domain

If you want to talk about Webmasters related issues, WG is for you.

If you want to talk about anything to everything (General Discussions), DD is for you.

I am using phpbb because it is a free script but I have designed a custom theme for it and installed some MODs, including phpbb seo mod to get seo-friendly URLs.

Please review the forum and join as well

The forum is a good idea as a whole but, as for the design, I don;t see that there is much of one at all. It's very plain looking with not a lot going on with it. Maybe you should try adding a little color to it, or more graphcis or something?

You are right, but actually it is a ready-made phpbb design and I can't change it much.

When I will upgrade the forum to vbulletin I will get my own theme

It really a nice update Jani, as you can get more from a general forum than a webmaster forum in terms of adsense.

I like the logo of DD and everything you done for it.

I like the forum

I like the simplicity in the design and in the forum sections. Not too cluttered with ads and also not cluttered with many sub-forums and others.

Love the small icons too with the forum names

Just get members and rock your forum.

I like the look of the forum actually, it looks clean and welcoming. The ads are well-placed and the categories are sorted in a nice order. I am sure your forum can be successful in the long run, but eventually you have to switch to vB as phpBB does not index very well in Google.

Yes, I will upgrade to vbulletin as soon as I get money. And you know that forum also got increment in PR from 0 to 2.

Looks even better than before now that it is in vB I am sure you will see good indexing in the search engines. For some reason, Google indexes vB forums better than they do other forum scripts.
