Nice list but I don't pay attention to these validators usually. For me if the site is loading fine and appearing OK on all browsers then it is "Perfect"

They are good for a quick backlink and fast indexed but I wouldnt start going on a shopping spree because the website is suddenly worth more than Google!

I think my new virus blog is worth about 18million pounds now, not bad considering its not that old

Validating your website is important. Why? Because a properly structured site helps search engine spiders more easily crawl your content. Additionally, it helps your website to be accurately rendered on multiple browsers and platforms. Now, when you get those minor errors - they don't really matter, and it isn't worth your time to fix them. Just make sure you hit the big stuff ASAP.
